Name:

AdrianSings, a.k.a. Adrian Lloyd

Favorite Performance:

This is a really hard question since there are so many, but I think the most special was my duet of “Home” with JanJanSongs.  It was featured on Christmas Day, 2012, and It took on a life of its own.  Even after the thousands of performances I’ve done since, it still holds a special place in my heart. You can find it way down the list on my favorites.

What makes you excited to sing?

Besides the obvious reasons, the one that gets me most excited is the chance to harmonize.  I love harmony, and finding a partner who can just keep up with my improvised harmonies on a song is the best feeling (and, to my ears, sound) ever.

I love singing, and any time I am feeling down or trying to forget my problems, I find that singing really makes me feel better. Those little pop-ups on the app that mention the benefits of singing really are true. Sometimes it takes ‘til the second or third song before the endorphins and dopamine kick in, but by then I’m just in my own happy little Sing! bubble and I feel great!

Fun fact about you:

Even though I was born in England, I live in Canada and have an American accent but a Latin heart. Figure that one out! 😉

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?

Since I am currently fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer, my obvious choice would be to cure all cancers and diseases, but that may cause massive over-population! So, I guess, maybe I should change my answer to giving everyone the ability to live their dreams and be able to sing in perfect harmony!
