Smule User Spotlight: Ariyanti
Ariyanti has been a member of the Smule community for the past four years, and she plays a vital role as one of three organizers in our largest local community – the SmuleNesians! The SmuleNesians have been together for more than two years and includes more than 300 community members. What makes you excited to sing?:
I’ve been passionate about singing and music since I was a little. But then I found out, through music, you can express your deepest feeling and it can actually move people, even can change the world.
That’s why I was so excited when I found Smule’s Sing! app – not only can I channel my passion in music but also can meet and connect with amazing and talented people in Indonesia, the country where I live, and with people from around the world as well.
Fun fact about you
I’m a harmony addict and love to play to find many different styles of harmony that I can do in various songs. I hash tagged them under #AbusiveHarmony on Sing! 😂 I also have a routine when doing open calls: opening them alphabetically. That way, I usually find “hidden” great songs which I never knew before and learn them.
Besides singing, I really love MOVIES!! I’ve done a few movie marathons, where I spent a whole day in the theater to watch four or five movies at a time.
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
Hmmm… I would say, the ability to detect liars, since honesty is one of the most important things to me. Also I would LOVE to have the ability to teleport!! Traffic in Jakarta is so horrible! 😂
