The weather’s getting warmer, and you’ve got a travel itch to scratch! Pick a song that makes you think of the freedom of the open road, the sun shining down, the wind in your hair, and your favorite tunes blasting as you drive down the highway to wherever your heart may lead!
Remember, we love that you are opening up the variety of songs that Smule has to offer to more and more singers, but we want to hear you! So please make sure your open calls are a collaborative performance (by singing or playing a musical instrument) to make them eligible for Smule Picks. We can’t accept performances with out a performance 🙂 Thank you!

For newcomers, Smule Picks is a curated playlist of Smule’s favorite performances from the Sing! community based on a theme every week. Any community member can add the weekly Smule Picks hashtag to his or her recording description for a chance to be featured in this playlist, which we publish every Friday. And since today is Friday, it’s time to unveil a brand new playlist and announce next week’s theme!
First, we present this week’s Featured Smule Picks playlist, which was based on the theme One Hit Wonders. Check out the playlist right now on Smule Nation or open up the Sing! Karaoke app and tap on the Hot Performances screen.
This coming week’s theme is: RoadTrip! Here’s what you have to do for a chance to be featured in the Smule Picks playlist next week:
1) Create any performance that you would listen to on a roadtrip with good friends! 🙂
2) Add the hashtag #SmulePickRoadTrip!
3) Upload your recording by the deadline on Thursday, April 30, at noon PST.
It’s that easy! Each Friday we’ll post a new theme, giving you the chance to be featured in the Smule Picks playlist and on our social sites! 🙂
