Fix iOS Audio Recording Issues: Disable Sound Recognition Feature

We’ve recently received feedback from some iOS users experiencing issues where audio isn’t heard during recording, or there are significant glitches with the microphone. After investigating, our team discovered that the ‘Sound Recognition’ feature on iOS devices is causing this problem. We recommend that users experiencing these audio issues disable the ‘Sound Recognition’ feature to improve their recording experience on Smule.
Here’s how:
- Open ‘Settings’ on your phone
- Go to ‘Accessibility’
- Under the ‘Hearing’ section, select ‘Sound Recognition’
- Toggle the switch to ‘Off’
