Important Update: HD Video Recording on Android is Temporarily Unavailable
Hi Smule Community,
First off, let’s just say – WOW! When we launched HD video recording on Android, we knew it would be popular, but you all took it to another level. Looks like you loved it a little too much!
Here’s what’s happening: because so many folks are rocking out in HD, we’ve seen an increase in rendering times for video recordings. While we’re thrilled you’re loving the feature as much as we do, we also want to ensure that everyone’s experience stays fast, smooth, and frustration-free.
We know how important it is for you to quickly enjoy and share your performances. To address this, we’re temporarily pausing HD video recording on Android, while we reevaluate its performance and optimize the feature for the incredible demand it’s receiving.
While HD recording is temporarily unavailable, you’ll still be able to record and share your solos and duets in standard definition. This isn’t goodbye – it’s just a quick intermission. We’re working hard behind the scenes to bring HD video back, and we’ll keep you in the know with updates along the way.
We can’t thank you enough for your enthusiasm and we appreciate your patience and support as we make these improvements.
