It’s Smuloween! Give Any Song a Spooky Twist on Smule
Quick Summary
Welcome to Smuloween, Smule’s month-long celebration where every song gets a Halloween twist and every singer gets to join the fun. Sing Halloween songs using haunting Styles or add spooky lyric animations, solo or with friends, and tag #Smuloween. Grab the app and let’s get into it: Download Smule now on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, or if you already have the app, click here to join #Smuloween.
New Ways to Set the Mood
To help you get in the spirit, we’ve added new lyric animations, plus Styles, audio and video effects that give your performance a whole new mood. Try our Graveyard Shift Style, featuring a haunted cemetery scene with eerie ambient sounds, or set the scene with our Dark Cabin lyric animation, featuring a shadowy cabin and waving, wiggly lyrics. Think of them as your costume for the song itself, a little extra flair to match the season, no sewing required.
Costume Optional, Spirit Encouraged
You don’t need a costume to join in (though we won’t stop you). Show up as a witch, a ghost, a monster, or just as yourself, singing and sharing your favorite song. What matters is that you’re having fun and enjoying the moment with the rest of the Smule community.
Halloween Through Song
This isn’t about being scary or being perfect. It’s about having fun with your friends, your favorite songs, and a little dark, goofy, or silly energy, whatever your Halloween vibe. Pick a spooky classic, put an unexpected spin on a familiar favorite, or choose something completely different and give it your own Halloween twist.
Take the spotlight and sing solo. Share the moment with a friend, someone from around the world, or your favorite Smule artist. Or pull together a group and turn it into a full-on Halloween ensemble. However you like to sing, there’s a way to do it this month.
Join the Fun
Once you’ve recorded your performance, tag it #Smuloween and share it so the whole community can enjoy it with you. Discover what everyone else is singing, find a new favorite, and add your own voice to the mix. However you show up, everyone’s invited to the party.
