Update for Our VIP Members: New Path for Extending & Reactivating Invites
Hi Smule Community,
We have an important update for our VIP members. We’re making an adjustment to how you reactivate and extend your invites. This update reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing your experience and keeping our platform fresh and engaging.
What’s Changing?
Starting March 17th, 2025, we’ll remove the Profile Extension button and introduce a new way to manage your invite extensions and reactivations. You’ll no longer see the option to extend or reactivate invites on your Profile’s Channel tab. Here’s how to manage your invites going forward:
How to Extend and Reactivate Invites
1. Tap your Profile icon and select the Performance you want to manage.
2. When Now Playing opens, Click More (the three dots).
3. Choose Edit to access the extend/reactivate options.
4. On the Edit screen, tap Extend or Reactivate based on your invite’s status.
5. Tap Save.
Why This Change is Important
Since announcing unlimited extensions and reactivations for VIP, we’ve heard your concerns about the increase in repurposed content making it harder to discover fresh performances. This update is the first step in addressing that feedback by helping new content remain discoverable. Our team continues to monitor and will make further improvements based on your input, ensuring everyone can discover, share, join, and enjoy a wide variety of performances.
