Virtual Voices with Allie Torto In-App Promo Terms & Conditions
This promotional campaign (“Promo”) is organized by Smule, Inc. (“Smule”) in support of Virtual Voices with Allie Torto, a community-driven competition independently created and run by Allie Torto and her team.
This Promo is intended to raise awareness of Allie Torto’s content and the fourth annual Virtual Voices with Allie Torto contest. Smule is not involved in the planning, organization, administration, content submission, judging, winner selection, prize distribution, or any other logistical or operational aspects of the competition. This includes, but is not limited to, any responsibilities, obligations, or liabilities related to participation, eligibility, event-related expenses, reimbursement of costs, or prizes or benefits offered by Allie Torto, her team, affiliated sponsors, partners, judges, or any other associated parties. Smule acts solely as a platform facilitating promotional exposure and is not an agent, partner, co-organizer, or representative of Allie Torto or her team. Smule does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any statements, claims, or prizes associated with the competition.
Participation in this Promo, including but not limited to engaging with promoted content on the Smule app, does not constitute entry into the Virtual Voices competition. Entry into the competition is governed solely by the rules and requirements established by Allie Torto and her team. Eligibility
This Promo is open to all Smule users with an active account, aged 18 years or older as of the date of participation, subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Promo is void where prohibited by law or local jurisdiction. Employees of Smule, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members or individuals living in the same household are not eligible to receive any prizes directly from Smule in connection with this Promo. Virtual Voices with Allie Torto is an independently organized event. Smule is not involved in the planning, execution, judging, or prize distribution of the competition. All competition-related decisions (including rules, eligibility, submissions, judging, and prize distribution) are solely the responsibility of Allie Torto and her team. Engaging with Allie Torto’s promoted content on Smule (e.g., joining a duet, loving a song, commenting, or sharing) may help boost visibility but does not guarantee entry into the competition. Promo Period
This Promo begins on November 1, 2025, and ends on November 14, 2025. Smule reserves the right to modify these dates or end the Promo at any time without prior notice.
Rights & Content Use
By interacting with content promoted as part of this campaign, you acknowledge and agree that your participation (e.g., duet recordings, video submissions, comments) may be featured or shared by Smule for promotional purposes across Smule’s digital platforms, including but not limited to email, social media, and in-app features. You retain ownership of your original content but grant Smule a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, and share such content in connection with this Promo for the duration of the Promo and a reasonable period thereafter for archival or marketing purposes. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to grant this license and that your content does not infringe upon any third-party rights. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights or rights of attribution you may hold in connection with Smule’s use of such content.
Limitation of Liability
By participating in this Promo, you agree to release and hold harmless Smule, its affiliates, partners, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from or related to:
– Your participation in the Virtual Voices with Allie Torto competition
– Disqualification or eligibility disputes of said event
– Judging decisions or prize distribution of said event
– Technical or platform-related issues on Smule
– Any costs incurred (including travel, accommodations, or contest entry-related expenses)
– Content visibility, moderation, or performance within the Smule app
– Content visibility, moderation, or performance of filmed or produced content during and after said event
Smule does not guarantee any level of exposure, visibility, or outcome for participants engaging with this Promo. Smule provides the Promo “as is” and disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected via the Smule app is subject to Smule’s Privacy Policy. Smule does not collect, control, or process any personal data provided directly to Allie Torto or her team as part of the external competition, and is not responsible for their data handling practices.
General Terms
Smule reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Promo at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated in-app or on the campaign landing page. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between participants and Smule concerning the Promo and supersede any prior communications. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

This Promo is hosted by Smule and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or any third-party platform. Smule is not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of any third-party websites, applications, or services linked from the Promo.
Acceptance of Terms
By participating in this in-app Promo, you confirm that you have reviewed, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Participation constitutes a legally binding agreement to these Terms and to Smule’s general Terms of Service.
