New Partner Artist – Sing “Here” with Alessia Cara
Born in Canada, Alessia Cara is a singer/songwriter who signed with EP Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings at the age of 18. She is well known for her acoustic YouTube covers before she released her debut album Know-It-All.
Her most famous song, “Here”, was released late-March on behalf of everyone who deplores the “party scene”. The music video was inspired by a party she attended when she was 16, where she felt disconnected. The next day, she began writing the song. Once released, the sleeper hit eventually made it’s way into the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 as well as the top 20 in Canada, while the music video on YouTube is sitting pretty at well over 22 million views!
