Our Sing Live feature is all about connecting with friends and fellow music lovers, and we want to help you easily find and host a Sing Live session that resonates with you! To make this happen, the Smule team has been hard at work bringing new enhancements to Sing Live!

We’ve given the way you search for a live session on the Explore page a fresh new look! With our community in mind, this redesign makes searching for live sessions more user-friendly and engaging.
What’s it All About?
We’ve expanded the ‘Live Now’ carousel to provide more room for session names, descriptions, and hashtags. You’ll now have an expanded view of all the exciting live sessions happening right now, making it easier to find your perfect match! With increased visibility, you can quickly discover live sessions that resonate with you and join others who share your passion for music.
Plus, we’ve added a new ‘Start Live’ button at the bottom of the carousel, and on the ‘Live Now’ page, making it super simple to start your own live session instantly!
But that’s not all! In the weeks to follow, when you host a live session, you’ll notice a new page designed to help you create the perfectly tailored session for your interests and audience.
Attract your ideal audience!
When you host a Sing Live session, you have the power to describe what it’s all about by including an engaging description, symbols, and creative hashtags to highlight genres, artists, or themes. We’re not changing that. We want you to let everyone know what to expect from your live session. This way, participants can easily discover your session based on their specific interests. Whether you’re hosting an acoustic R&B night, or kicking off an 80s throwback, this is your opportunity to set the tone for your session.
What’s New?
Choose Your Language: Inclusivity is at the heart of our community. As a host, you can now select up to two languages for your session, so participants know exactly what to expect and can join with confidence.
Define Your Session Type: Prefer a laid-back chat instead of singing? Choose from four (4) options: Singing, Talking, Event, or Mentoring. This helps guests understand the experience they’re stepping into. Feel free to select up to two!
The language and session type you select will soon be visible in the session view while browsing the ‘Live Now’ section.
Our team is dedicated to making your Sing Live experience the best it can be. Please note that Android users will start to see some of the updates initially as we work behind the scenes to roll out these enhancements to everyone.
