Smule Spotlight: Flow_peaknext
My name is Kiattisak Promsensa or Peak. I’m a full-time radiation oncologist working in a regional hospital in North-East Thailand. Singing is one of my most favorite hobbies besides gaming and drawing. I’ve been on Sing for 3 years.
What makes you excited to Sing?
I love 90’s music, especially American R&B. In my town, it was hard to find and hangout with a friend who has the same taste of music since we live in a non-English-spoken country. At the first time I discovered that I can sing my favorite songs with many amazing people around the world through this app, I couldn’t spend my free time on any other job but singing LOL. Sing just made my dream came true.
Who influences you the most?
I admire 90’s R&B artists. Brian McKnight is one of my favorite singers and my prototype in singing. His voice has a unique quality and texture and his range is jaw-dropping. I admired him more since I have known that he used to be a baritone like me. But none of mine could be compared with his talent LOL.
Share a personal fact no one would ever guess about you.
I’ve never been trained in singing and I always look for a way to sing better. YouTube is the most valuable resource for an amateur singer like me. I learn more of vocal theory and technique from some great YT channels such as New York Vocal Coaching and Eric Arceneaux. If they lived in my country I would pay to attend their academy LOL
Can you share one quote or saying you love, that keeps you going in life?
As a doctor, I dedicate my life to the patient. As a Smulean, I dedicate my voice to the community.
If you could have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I think it could be any meal, but to have it with Mariah Carey. I’m a big fan of her! I can die peacefully after that LOL
