ZZ Ward in an american songwriter and singer. She was born in Pennsylvania and spent her youth in Oregon, listening to her fatherβs blues and brotherβs hip hop music collections – a blend that continues to influence her style. She later moved to Los Angeles where she got signed to Boardwalk Entertainment group and eventually Hollywood Records. Her first single, βPut the Gun Down,β placed in the top 10 charts on the AAA radio charts in February 2013 for about 10 weeks and also made its way into the top 40 Billboard alternative charts. You may have caught her act last year at a top music festivals Coachella and Banaroo.
Fun fact: At the young age of 12, ZZ Ward joined her first band with her father!
